What makes SCI different than other ultrasound companies is the highly skilled and experienced sonographers performing the exams. An ultrasound exam is a professional experience between the patient and the sonographer. As an interactive examination, the sonographer will be asking you questions about you, what you are feeling as well as gathering information about your family history.
As the “eyes and ears” of the radiologist, the sonographer will listen and convey your problems to the radiologist. The radiologist trusts that our sonographers will give them the highest quality ultrasound studies possible.
All the SCI sonographers are registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Registry of Vascular Technology (RVT), or, Diagnostic Medical Sonography. SCI employs three (3) fully credentialed Registered Sonographers with more than 30 years of combined technical experience.
SCI provides ultrasound equipment and staffing to physician offices, radiology practices and hospitals. Our management team has a successful track record contracting with hospitals and medical groups for general and peripheral vascular ultrasound departments. The team’s experience is further demonstrated by their technical and management expertise to achieve prestigious hospital credentialing such as ACR (American College of Radiology) and IACVL (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission Vascular Laboratories).
